Though "trick-or-treat" is not so popular in Lithuania, almost all bars, clubs, pubs and other public places turning into scary houses, abandoned hospitals or cemetery...but also some people are really interested to make parties at home. There are lots of ways how to spend this scary night: watch old scary movies, clubs, turn into the vampire:D...or I have one more interesting choice...Bring all your friends together, take the family car or better the minibus and go catching the ghosts, adrenaline and thrilling photos in the most horrible and dangerous places..and yes it is really scary and memorable.
Abandoned Places:
Druskininkų sanatorium "Nemunas"
The 12-storey sanatorium was built during the Soviet occupation in 2007 it was closed. Inside, there are a lot of furniture, hardware, and other things. On the ground floor there are signs of fire, and on the upper floors, part of the permeated walls.
Naujosios Vilnios Psychiatric Hospital

Shattered windows, graffiti-decorated walls, homeless leftovers ... It seems like a typical left-wing building, but just hearing what the purpose of this building, which was used a few years ago, is getting worse. The condition of the hospital is very poor. There is no room with a healthy window, the wind blows through the ceiling also the water flows inside... There was a children's section in this hospital, which is why the building itself may not be a cause for fear, but children's drawings on the walls, playful toys cause really sad emotions..
A small civil protection hideout in Kaunas

This hideout is small and really dreadful, it is almost the most visited place of Aleksotas. There are various gas tanks, hermetic doors, metal linings, almost destroyed posterurinal and ventilation system. There are two entrances, one of them is locked, and the other is open, next to the hideout is Police building.

In the district of Ukmerge, near the village of Kopūstėliai, the Nuclear Missile Base was built in 1958. The base locates around 100 hectares with over 100 different buildings, where you can still find gasmasks, bunkers, abandoned hangars, missile launchers. Now the part of the base belongs to "Miško Broliai" fellowship. They recreate some hangars where people can feel and see the authentic atmosphere also you can book the show of soldiers for the bachelor party.
