Pltivice Lakes National Park The Plitvice Lakes National Park located in Croatia  is well known to the Europeans who live in this area but many of those who live in other countries are not as well acquainted with these amazing works of nature. However, each day a couple thousand of people visit this magnificent place.   If you heard the name “Pltivice Lakes” without knowing anything about them from beforehand, you’d probably think that there’s two, three or even four lakes together, right? Well, no…  In total, there are 16 lakes! They are all arranged in a cascade of sorts. Starting with a mountain runoff before further delving one another via small rivers.
